Source reuse register

WillItCostMore is designed around official/open data whose published reuse terms support the intended transformations and display, subject to attribution and source-specific conditions. Public accessibility alone is never treated as commercial permission.

Scope of this review

This register records the published terms reviewed for the specific source stack. Terms and dataset metadata can change; third-party rights can override general reuse rules. It is governance documentation, not a guarantee of zero legal risk or legal advice.

Source-specific legal/reuse summaries below are maintained in English so the reviewed wording stays consistent across markets. The interface and policy explanation are localized; controlling publisher terms govern if there is any conflict.

Sources deliberately excluded

Swiss National Bank (SNB) website data

The production pipeline does not depend on SNB website data because the reviewed website terms did not provide the broad commercial reuse permission required for this product. ECB reference-rate statistics are used for the currency transformation instead.

Swiss Federal Statistical Office (FSO/BFS) assets as a blanket category

The pipeline does not assume every FSO/BFS asset is commercially reusable. Only a specifically verified resource should be added. Eurostat HICP is used for the Swiss consumer-inflation confirmation layer where applicable.

Operational safeguards

Source names are used for attribution and provenance only. WillItCostMore avoids provider logos and endorsement language, labels normalized signals and score contributions as derived calculations, keeps links to controlling source terms, and re-reviews a source when an endpoint, dataset or reuse notice changes.
