Terms & forecast disclaimer
These terms govern the current free WillItCostMore website, price alerts, Plus Preview and Business Pilot. They are written for the service that exists today; separate commercial terms will be shown before any paid subscription is sold.
The forecasting model is operational and has passed technical validation, but it has not yet accumulated enough out-of-sample history to claim demonstrated predictive accuracy. The forecast product therefore remains Beta while its historical record is built and evaluated.
Informational forecasts
The Price Pressure Score is a directional model output. It is not an expected percentage increase, an exact shelf-price forecast, financial or investment advice, legal advice, or a procurement instruction.
Uncertainty & data revisions
Forecasts can be wrong. Source data can be delayed, cached, revised, unavailable or erroneous. Taxes, regulation, contracts, inventories, hedging, margins, retailer strategy, substitutions and local supply conditions can make realized retail prices differ materially from the score.
Price alerts
Price alerts are a best-effort notification service. Delivery can be delayed or fail because of source outages, email-provider filtering, infrastructure incidents or other factors. Alerts are not a substitute for independently monitoring information relevant to an important decision.
Service availability
The service, sources, features and supported markets can change. Free/Beta functionality may be modified or withdrawn. Paid-service terms will be introduced separately before any paid plan is sold.
Plus Preview
Plus Preview describes current advanced analysis and planned future features. No paid Plus subscription is currently sold, no payment is collected, and viewing the Plus page does not create a paid-service contract. Preview features, planned features and indicative pricing may change before launch.
Business Pilot
The founding Business Pilot is currently offered without a subscription fee to selected participants. Participation is subject to confirmation and may be changed or ended. Any later paid Business plan will have its own clearly disclosed price and commercial terms before a participant is charged.
Acceptable use
You may use the public website and API for lawful, reasonable purposes. Do not interfere with service operation, bypass access or security controls, overload the service, scrape in a way that materially harms availability, submit malicious content, or use the service to violate another person’s rights.
Sources, licensing & endorsement
Provider names identify provenance only. They do not imply sponsorship or endorsement. Reuse conditions and attribution notes are maintained in the Data Licensing register; third-party rights and source-specific exceptions must still be respected.
WillItCostMore content and third-party data
WillItCostMore retains rights in its original software, design, text, derived scores and analysis to the extent applicable. Third-party source data, names and materials remain subject to their own rights and terms. Source names identify provenance and do not imply endorsement.
Use decisions
Use WillItCostMore as one input among others and independently verify information before material household, business, procurement, financial or investment decisions. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability, completeness or forecast accuracy. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Operator
Applicable law
These terms are governed by Swiss law to the extent permitted by applicable law. Mandatory consumer-protection, data-protection and jurisdiction rights that apply because of a user’s place of residence remain unaffected. Any dispute is subject to the courts that are competent under applicable mandatory law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the free service develops. If paid services are introduced, the applicable price, billing, cancellation and other commercial terms will be presented before a user enters a paid contract.
